Never thought I would see the day. Don’t think I could ever pay this. What do y’all think?

I haven't been on in a while, I still have my R and follow this page .
if I am correct the Badge is not the original it says 00035 shouldn't it say 97035 Im just going on what I learned 18 years ago with the Type R. I could be wrong.

97's did not have the year stamped on the badge. All other USDM years following had the year associated with it. (98, 00, 01)
Does anyone know if this eBay listing was for 1997 00035?
I see 00035 is listed for sale with ~15k miles but shows many signs of being higher mileage than that. It has a turbo on it, interior is pretty faded and worn, driver's door pan fabric peeling off, trunk mat in horrible shape, and the shift **** looking like it's so old it needs to be replaced.
Asking price as of today is $65k.
