Default Brakes rock hard in -20c and below

Hi, I have a 2010 Crosstour, and at temps around -20c, at startup, the brakes are solid and require pumping to free them up. With a really hard push they will stop the car, but they are really firm. As soon as they release, they work perfectly, no matter how cold it gets. It is purely cold related, happens repeatedly at -20 and below. We have had the brakes services, cleaned and new fluid to the tune of $850, but the problem remains

This is a common issue.

Have you called the dealer?

I think a lot of people were replacing the master cylinder or the check valve.

I would call the dealer.
