Default 1986 honda prelude rough idle and intermittent poor driveability

I currently own a bone stock 1986 Honda Prelude with the 2.0 PGMFI and need help resolving driveability/ idle issues. Cold or Hot the Honda has a really rough idle all the time and intermittently losses power while driving. While the issue is happening the accelerator pedal feels super soft, numb, useless, and engine rpm drops to near stall making a fluttering sound as it's stalling, if I feather the throttle while at Wide Open Throttle it suddenly comes back to life and drives OK but with the rough idle still present (the rough idle is always present). Also while it's fluttering and nearly stalling if I shut off the engine for a second or three when I start it back up it runs as if nothing ever happened!

Parts Replaced:
  • Timing belt was replaced with an genuine Honda belt (no change/improvement was found afterwards)
  • All four injectors due to two leaky injectors leaking from the body (Solved the leaky issue but made no difference/improvement to the issues stated above)
  • Fuel filter (no change/improvement was found afterwards)
  • Cheap poor quality Bosch Ignition wire set was replaced with new NGK wireset and NGK spark plugs (no change/improvement was found afterwards)
  • At the same time the wireset was replaced the cap and rotor was also replaced (no change/improvement was found afterwards)
  • Replaced original 1 wire NGK Oxygen sensor with a Brand new identical looking 1 wire Denso Oxygen sensor (no change/improvement was found afterwards)
