Heat treating gears
Hello everyone, I'm looking to get my gears heat treated. I've looked and found everyone here recommends the same guy, Racerstev. Does anyone know if he's still doing this and if so, does he have a fb? I private messaged him 2 months back and haven't heard from him. If he's no longer offering this service, does anyone know anyone else with comparable services and prices?
Thanks in advanced guys!

If you're making 800 and want the trans to last as long as possible then you need a gear set. Any form of stock gears aren't going to last long (maybe 100 passes if everything goes really well and the car is light).
I got a hold of him, thanks everyone!
I agree with you, but I'm only looking for 700ish whp and one summer in a car that won't really be street driven. I know it may still not last, but as many people that have had success, I figure it's worth a shot to get me through one season. If the car proves itself it'll get a ppg gear set next winter and I'll really turn it up then.
