Default 2005 Pilot will not start

With 198,000 miles on it I recently drove my pilot over 2,000 miles over a period over a period of a couple weeks and it ran fine. After the trip I let the pilot sit idle for a couple of weeks and when I tried starting it and it would engage the starter but would not turn the engine over. After jumping it I was able to get it started. It ran fine for a week until I let it sit idle again for a couple of weeks after which it did the same thing. Again I tried jumping it without success so I had the battery checked and it was fine. I had it towed in to check it out and the service technician said he checked out the starter motor and said it was fine however when he tried turning the flywheel manually it would turn one way but not the other. What could the problem be?
