Hey guys ive tried to look for this but came up short, i bought a jdm engine that has a y7 valvetrain in the d16y8 head, perfect combo for power and compression! My question is, i want to wire the engine up with a p2p ecu for the added fuel and air but there is no vtec cam or solenoid in the head but it is a y8 head. Is it possible to run the ecu like that or do i need to bypass the vtec? Ive only seen the oil pressure switch bypass but not the vtec solenoid unit itself unless i bought a p28 which i dont want
