Hey guys, new member here. Last summer i landed the coolest car ive ever owned. It spent most of its life as a weekend car and under a cover in a garage. Its Mint! 5sp. 45k when i got it. 47k now. Its my daily but its off the road for winter. Couldn't bear the thought of putting it through a NY winter. i'll post pictures later. I have a few simple questions but i am trying to do it the right way. The 2 post 5 day rule is rough though.

I do! Its off the road right now in a garage. Its pretty much summer so as soon as dmv is open. Lets ride. You're PA? Close enough.

 

I'm in Texas, it has California plates on it, but that will change soon. Mine's an automatic - wish it was a 5 speed.

 

So clean. Love it. Wonder where the passenger mirror came from. No moonroof but love the rack on the trunk. You have an instagram? Analogue_Sunrise

 

The passenger mirror back then was a dealer accessory you could buy - it even has the same adjustment as the drivers side. Same with the trunk rack, a dealer accessory. No instagram . . i might have to sign up . . lol

 

 

 

You should. I'd follow all the places you bring that car. Definantly make one. No politics, no covid, no ranting bs, only pictures. Its much better than other social media.

My dad has been selling hondas sine 83 or 84. He said he remembers that being an option but i just cant find anything anywhere.

 

This is from 1980, but it shows that the right hand remote controlled mirror is "to be announced" in the footnote. Also shows the teak wood trunk rack.

Hey, any chance the next time you are around the SE that you would take a picture of the ignition coil without the rubber boot on it?
I think when we hooked up the wires on the - and + side we might have reversed them. Thanks!
