Default Trouble starting after just dting on road, but sound like it wants to

after rain, Honda Civic started up, but just stopped when driving, sounds flooded, but isn't won't start. Wants to turn over, sounds strong, battery connects, . Sometimes rain gets in hood, but starts when dries out. It started up quick and strong and drove sommoth for 15 minutes, then just died. Sounded flooded, but wasn;t . it has gas. After days, it still sounds like it wants to start, but just won't turn over.

Stalling out in the rain means something has been wrong all along. Usually it is something to do with the ignition high voltage such as a cracked distributor cap or bad spark plug wires. You can't tell if the wires are bad by looking. This could get worse to the point where it doesn't start even when dry.

Sudden death on the road, then firing some when trying to restart, but not actually starting, could be:
* timing belt skipped
* distributor rotor came loose from the shaft (bolt fell out) or melted due to bad distributor bearing
* distributor sensor failure -- pull codes
