Help lost a screw changing the side left mirror on my 01 LX!?
I was changing the mirror because it got destroyed by a hit and run *sigh*. I'm not a car person but it looked like an easy install and it was. I lost 1/3 screws that hold the mirror together with the car. The mirror is secured and it most likely won't come off by just driving but I am worried that it will come back to bite me in the ***. Do you guys know the type of screw and if so where can I buy one online?
Did you lose a screw or a nut? It should be 3 nuts holding the mirror to the door panel, with the threaded studs being molded into the mirror itself.
Nut part number: 94050-05080
Its a 5mm nut, standard pitch (if memory serves me right).

If you can't easily find locally a replacement 5mm flange nut, alternatives can be:
- 5mm nut and washer
- 5mm nylon insert locknut (Lowes have the Hillman 4-Count 5mm Zinc-Plated Metric Nylon Insert Lock Nuts for about 68 cents)
- 5mm nut by itself
Thanks for the tip man. I will definitely keep that in mind.
