Default bogging in 3rd?

I was racing my brother the other day when all of sudden my car bogged out on me in 3rd at about 90 mph. Can anyone tell me if I have a limiter or my car doesn't have enough umph to pass 100 mph. I have a 90 Civic with a 94 EX intake setup, Si ecu, DC headers, Crane cam (mild), Nakayama intake with intake, AEM underdrive pulley, ACCEL wires and a flowmaster dual tip exhaust.
The only thing my brother has in his 89 Civic Sedan is I think a Si motor with headers and exhaust and yet he pulled pass me in the beginning and kept up in top end. How can that be? Any advice please let me know. I'm in need of some desperate help? I need some top end and takeoff!!!!!!

According to the gear ratio program i have if you have the Si or Dx transmission you were pushing around 7200 rpm which means you were hitting the fuel cut. That is why it wouldn't pull anymore. Your ecu is what is limiting the power. I have a feeling if you chipped the ecu and upgraded the valvetrain that cam you have would make power up that high.
