Default D16Y8 question

Hello everyone. I recently swapped an engine into a 97 EX. The guy said it was a D16Y8 and the block is stamped with it. There is a couple difference from the one that I took out (D16Y8) and the new one. First there is no dipstick, no location for the crank position sensor, and the oil pan is different. I need a new oil pan seal but not sure what to get. Any ideas on where to start? What type of engine?

I think the alloy oil pan uses only Hondabond or other sealant, there isn't a gasket. The steel pan is conventional with a cork gasket. Either type of pan can bolt onto the same block.

The crank sensor may bolt to the oil pump, which looks like it is part of the block at first glance, but is removable.

The pan is steel but the gasket I had does not line up and is to big.
