Default o2 sensor bypass

Okay so I have a 2001 honda civic ex that I want to take the catalytic converter out and straight pipe it. But I don't want the damned CEL flashing at me. Any way I can take the cat out without the CEL turning on? Thank you in advance

If you live in the united states that is illegal and a federal offense, and state offense in at least 45 states.

See question 1.

Otherwise, devices exist that you can buy that plug into sensor plugs and trick the ECU. Happy googling.

You get a defouler for the 2nd o2 sensor. If space is restrictive they have L (90 degree bend) defoulers.

It keeps the o2 sensor but puts some space so t reads different than the primary and prevents the code from appearing.

Code appears when the two O2 sensors come back with near like readings.
