Premature Wheel Bearing Failure

I replaced both front wheel bearings on my Integra a few weeks ago and now the front driver side wheel is loose again. I used Timken bearings which are stamped Koyo made in Japan. Is there any suspension or brake problem that could cause this? Unevenly worn brake rotors? Possibly counterfeit bearings? My suspension is all tight as far as I can tell and the steering rack feels like it might have a bit of play (the rack/pinion itself, tie rod ball joints are nice and stiff) but I don't feel any vibration or anything that you'd expect if it was rattling itself apart. I had a friend of a friend install them for me so maybe that was done incorrectly somehow? Even still, I'd expect more than 2 weeks of life out of the bearing even if it was installed with a ******* hammer.
possibly too much pressure was applied to the inner race, that will **** it.

It also depends on how you pressed in the bearing and the hub. If you didn't support the bearing properly when pressing in the hub you probably did fucked it and fucked it good you did.

When I replaced the bearings about a year ago I used the method outlined in the post linked by tamboo, I figured that was what caused the failure so I took them to a shop to have them done with a proper press. It was a cash under the table deal with a friend of a friend and I didn't see how he did it so that could be the cause I suppose. I guess I'll just do it again with bearings bought straight from Honda to make sure they aren't counterfeit and pay a machine shop to do it properly.

Thanks I appreciate it! I somehow never realized you were in Austin too lol. I'm aiming to get it taken care of next weekend.
