First Time Buyer - Does this GS-R look ok to you all or does something seem off?
Hey there, I'm planning on going out to look at an Integra tomorrow and was wondering if some of you could take a look at the Craigslist listing and let me know if there's any red flags or something i should take a closer look at.
I have a friend that works a lot on hondas so luckily i have some good backup too.

Funny enough, while trying to pull up more info on this car, i found that there was a NP/CP article about it on Jalopnik: https://jalopnik.com/at-4-433-would-...s-r-1820249834
Based on what people are saying in the comments, looks like there's some discrepancies with:
I've looked all over my area, and finding a GS-R with a clean title is hard, they're basically all over 5.5k.
I really want one of the later year ones with the Leather, power windows, and as stock as possible. This is like one of the 3 GS-R's within 200 miles that fits the bill.
Since it's out in Yakima they'd be having a hard time selling it, hence why the price has dropped from $4,433 to $3999.
Here's the carfax report for it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1smm...ew?usp=sharing

Based on what people are saying in the comments, looks like there's some discrepancies with:
- The paint on the rear driver side door and that rear panel, but looking at pictures that are from different angles it looks fine.
- Bumpers potentially having some weird fitment and paint
- Inside looks hella armourall'd
- Engine Bay looks too clean, like it was pressure washed
- "Underhood shot suspiciously doesn’t show front end structure."

How far of a drive is that car for you? I would think you have to check it in person to make the determination. Does look like the paint might be a little weird. You would want to check the front for accident damage, check the tires for uneven wear, etc. COuld be good, could be bad. My guess is the interior has been reupholstered, which is fine. An accident can be ok if it was repaired to a high standard.
Just don't let your desire for a GSR override your common sense. But I wouldn't kick that car out of bed....

They're asking too much.
Stains on the carpet in the rear, missing an interior cap piece in the center console by the shifter, and it looks like one of the plastic panels under the dash by the footwell/steering wheel may be popped out a bit too.
172K miles, chipped/two tone paint, something is wrong with the rear window trim on the passenger side. You'd want to check for signs of a rear or front end collision on this car.
If it's not a far drive, if I were you I'd drive there with $3K cash in hand, and tell them you'll take it today. Maybe keep $500 more in your other pocket if you really wanted it. I certainly wouldn't pay $4K for this, personally.

And yeah I won't be able to know for sure until I see it in person, but I figured if other integra owners take a look at these pictures then I might have something pointed out to me.
