i recently bought a 91 acura integra. it was faded grey spray painted with bondo all down the side of the door where it the previous owner tried to shave his doors i went to wal mart and bought 8 black cans of spray paint and 2 white($10.73) took it out to my front pasteur and started taping and painted it

everyone so far says it looks way better. i wish i had before pictures


some areas look spotty but i lost a can and didnt get to finish till after the pictures

 

Looks good. A little uneven, but as long as it looks better than before . In the future, I would look into getting a cheap compressor and a HVLP paint gun. It would run around $100 for the gun, but it would allow for the coats to be alot more even. Looks like you got a ton of overspray on your windows tho lol. If thats the case, use a razorblade to take it off.

 

YOu can get a decent HVLP for 14.99 from harbor freights. Just go to a tool depot in your town and look for one. The quality of the paint doesn't lay on the price of the gun. Read up on painting and you'll see, good luck!

 

razor blade is good for windows, or steel wool, just be gentle wtih the steel.

anyway, you shoulda done the steelies black too. but thats just me.

even up the coats of paint everywhere, wet sand it, polish, wax, and take more pics

 

lol yeah there is some overspray on the windows its just cause it was super windy and some of my friends came over and were like i want to paint and they did the passenger side while i did the driver side.

nice primier.all u need now is fix your front bumper.sand it down hit it with a rattle can spray paint.looks like $50 paint job!!
