so everytime i take a corner, fast or not, i hear some rattling coming from my front wheel wells, mostly my right (pasenger) one. im dropped on ground control coilovers. any ideas what's going on? do my coilovers just bounce around or something? i checked and it looks like everything is good and tight, but still the noise is there. any ideas???

 

it also is happening when i accelerate, damnit!!!!!

rattle or click?

 

i guess it is more of a clicking, but it's pretty loud, i can hear it over my radio. very fast clicking/ sounds like stuff is bouncing kind of. i have no idea. does it more so that it is cold outside. also a slight grinding noise at times when i come to a complete stop (both more so on slight inclines)

 

a clicking when turning jack the car up and check the boots first.

you mean the cv joint boots? if one is loose would it cause the axle to clink around?

 

The cv joints might be shot. The sound you are describing points at the joints. Just because the boot isn't blown doesn't mean the joint is ok. How many miles have been put on these axles?

as far as i know they are the stock axles, with 105K plus on them.

 

Well, with 100+ miles on them I think that would be a good place to start. Although, before you run out and replace them, get a second opinion. You don't want to spend money on unnessesary items.

The only other thing I can think of would be the sleeves for the GC's. Just make sure that the O-rings or poly sleeves are installed correctly and that the sleeve isn't loose.
