Default Strange noise

On sunday (Mar. 16th) I decided that I would lower my car just a little more since I have adj. coilovers. Then all of a sudden on the way from school today I hear this noise so I turn down the radio and it sounds like there's a helicopter somewhere in the front underneath my car. Anybody know what this is.

Here are some other things.

~Wheel is a little more shakier than usual.
~when I speed up the noise speeds up.

Is it my axle or what?

Thanks everybody.

I really don't think so, I turn my radio, a/c and anything else that may make noise down occasionaly to make sure there aren't any excess sounds i'm not use to.

Tighten the wheel down? lol. When I did my suspension I forgot to tighten one of the wheels down and it was shaking and made a noise like you described.

I'll be sure to try that in the morning, I thought I tightened them all up enough. Hopefully that's it.

I'm pretty sure from your statement you didn't use a torque wrench.

well since the noise speeds up when you accelerate it might be a bad wheel bearing like someone suggested or it could be your tire...check it for seperation or bumps

swapped? b series? if so you may have axle bind. try putting it back to where it was and see if it goes away

wow, i have the same exact problem. My steering wheel starts to shake like a freakin vibrator when i go around 80mph. I thought it was my tires, cuz i hit a nasty pot hole, sometime last week. The tires are also CX steelies, so i don't know if they can handle 80 mph, hahah. But yea,..I did also have the helicopter noise, but i found it it was my tfal radiator fan, that was broken. ...And that crap was spinning out of place. Hey, i don't hear the helicopter noise anymore, but if it wasn't my fan, it could be my axel bind? errr.

EDIT: oh yea, i have a swapped b series.

I usually do use a torque wrench but didn't this time. I don't have a b series swap in my cx only a d series swap.
