I have a 90 accord lx... MY BABY.... Its almost time for me to put new motor on and be resurrected from her year long sleep.... I wanna hear some advice on what I should do... Well more of which motor should I put in her...??? She's an f22a1 and I want a little more speed or push... H22 or f20? Without having to completely modify ****... Which has more readily and easily available parts... Which would be the easiest? I'm learning as i go here working on my car since I've never found an actual trustworthy reliable mechanic... This I know I can't do myself lol so how should I go about finding a mechanic to do the swap without paying a grip? All ya cb7 lovers please feel to comment

 

To your mechanic question - Good or cheap. Pick one. Cheap mechanics will cut corners and/or generally have no clue what they're doing so you end up with problems later. Good mechanics aren't going to be cheap but you'll end up with much fewer problems and a better end result.

Do some research about swaps. There's info all over the internet. This topic has been debated and beaten to death over the years.
