PO497 and PO139 error codes - please help

PO497 and PO139 error codes - please help

Took my wife's car to autozone to get engine light checked out. Two codes popped up.

PO139
Any help regarding these codes are appreciated. My wife also complained of smelling smoke when she drives but I wasn't able to smell it on my short drive to autozone.

P0497 - Evaporative Control System Malfunction: You may have a poorly fitting gas cap, an EVAP purge valve that doesn't cycle properly, or something in regards to this system.
P0139 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response: You may have a faulty Oxygen sensor that needs replacement.
