Default 2012 CRV looking for a new battery

My 2012 CRV needs a new battery and I am having a hard time obtaining the specs for the one the dealership says they will put in (31500-CCA-H500R).

I have not been happy with the battery (the original existing one) for years so making sure the replacement is decent is important to me.

Any thoughts?

I'm in the same boat. Looking for something with a higher CCA than dealership will provide. Does anything exist in battery type 51R over 600CCA?

I don't know where you'll find CCA over 600. Best I've found at a big store is the Exide - Menards sells them, I think TSC might also. 510 CCA. I have one currently in a Civic and it's dealt with the recent sub zero agony really well.

I used to run the SuperStart Extreme from O'Reilly's. 500 CCA. Temps were at least down to single digits and I didn't have any trouble, and one battery made it a solid 5 years before it started to show its age.
