Default Del Sol RWD?

Anyone ever have any thoughts about doing this or seen this done?

And I'm talking about keeping the engine in the front and not making it a mid engine car and throwing it in the trunk.

So, you are thinking a complete S-2000 power train or a K-series engine and S2K transmission combination ???

Yes. I'm just thinking about how it will work. I know I'll have to some how make a trans tunnel and cut into the firewall and most likley have to go without heat... I'm pulling the older s2k trans that I have out of my s2 and putting in a jdm one and upgrading the clutch, so I will have a spare one in my garage... figured I could put it to good use or maybe see what could work. Just scheming at this point.
