Default P72 OBD2B Immobilizer issues!!

ive searches for two days with no definitive answers. I know you CAN remove the Immobilizer chip from the ECU. I don’t care about a CEL it’s my daily right now and it’s getting turboed come spring time but I need a quick fix to be able to drive it without getting stranded out with my kids in the car with it 30 degrees outside. I have found plenty of videos and pictures of the P73 chip location but nothing for the P72. If ANYONE could point me to the chip I need to remove I would GREATLY appreciate it! It’s intermittently not starting and when it does that the key light flashes. I’d rather do away with the IMMO and not worry about it right now. I have a $300 viper alarm system so the IMMO isn’t a concern of mine. Thanks in advance!

I don't know about removing the immobilizer, but it's possible you just need a new key.

Pricing around here I’ve been quoted varies from $125-180 for key and programming... and honestly I don’t want to waste the money on it. Like I said you n a month or two it’s getting converted to OBD1 anyways but I need a quick fix.
