Default Unusual tire wear.

Hello everyone,

I have a 1998 CR-V 5-door (4 Wheel drive) with 320,000 KM on it which I owned for a little over two years. I had very few problems with it and a couple of months ago I was at an auto shop for an estimate to repair and oil leak and a head gasket or something like that when they noticed that the front right upper suspension arm is worn and recommended it should be replaced and I had them replace it. Two weeks ago or so I was at another auto shop for the same oil leak that I didn't fix and he noticed an unusual tire wear on the front right tire. The tire is worn considerably in the centre and quite good at the edges similar to the picture attached (though it's not a picture of my tire just looks like what I'm describing ). He made sure that it wasn't overinflated tire and couldn't give me a cause for the wear. I asked him to switch the two rear tires with the front which he did. Two weeks later and about 10,000 KM( I drive a lot) the front right tire is worn again in the middle and almost as bad that I now have to replace two tires prematurely. What should I been looking at fixing?
Thanks
Kal

You should start with getting an alignment.
