i have a 1993 honda accord ex.
was driving the other day, making a turn. went to switch to second gear, stepped on gas, car shut down. Coasted down the street to pull over to the side to restart; hasnt restarted since.
Replaced, spark plugs, spark plug wires, igniter, distributor cap, rotor in cap, valve cover seals, and coil.
still no go.
not getting any spark, not sure what to try. Any ideas, please and thank you!

 

Are you getting 12v from the ignition to the coil?
Does the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition to II?

 

Husband says it won’t start so he can’t tell about the 12v.
but the fuel, yes. We were able to check that yesterday.

 

it doesn't need to start to check for voltage at the coil or the black/yellow wire going to the distributor connector with the ignition set to on

it could be the ignitor that's bad
