Should I aim my lights lower now with HID??
I just installed my HID kit and they light up the ground beautifully!!!!....anyways im worried about oncoming traffic getting blinded by these bright lights!....should i aim them lower then what the stock level is...ie. lower so that the bubble is not at 0 but below it???
Also...the ceramic part covering the wire..that runs parallel to the bulb is broken...i think its there to prevent the wire from bending...i dont notice any light difference between the two bulbs....is it ok if its broken?

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the broken thingy.
Anyways, if you haven't tempered with the horizontal/vertical setting of the headlight yet, don't do it. Just leave it as it is. Keep it at the stock level.

at least youre considerate of other drivers on the road.
as long as it doesnt blind other drivers and you get the full effect of the HID.. whatever works.

Its hard to explain and i dont have a pic..of what the bulb looks like!!...its the wire thats come out of the bulb and it runs parallel to the bulb...about .25" from the bulb...this wire is covered by ceramic case i guess...and i think its there to protect the wire from bending..but its broken!!

I never go by the bubble levels... according to mine, my headlights are too high, but they are actually aimed just slightly lower than parallel to the ground. I do this by parking about 20' from a wall and measuring the distance of the headlight from the ground, then aiming the cutoff so it is just below that same height on the wall. You should do the same with your HID lights if they aren't already. I never get flashed w/ my 9005 conversion. By aiming the lights this way you will get them to reach out the farthest.

well i say since you didnt exactly have stock bulbs put in you should have them checked.. i remmeber once when i got an inspection a service station had a wall that they used in there garage to aim em..
Aim the headlights according to the Helm's manual...compensate for any lowering of your car. And, the cermic sleeve should be fine, just don't break the the wire or your capsule is useless.
