1999 Honda Civic.

The car had a problem where it would shut off randomly while driving and then start again after cooling off.
I pulled the distributor plug and pushed it back in and fixed a leak in the radiator hose and the car did not have problems for 4 months.

Now it is acting up.

It starts cold perfectly fine. I could start it, drive 20 miles, turn it off and sometimes it starts again without issue. Sometimes it doesn't. I could drive it a mile at 25 mph and turn it off and it will not start. It cranks, it gets spark (not a strong spark), but doesn't start. After 10 min, without fail the car will start again ( in those situations, i usually just go back home) and in the drive way, I can turn the car on and off 5 times without issue. Any ideas welcome.

 

2 things to check.
main relay, may need resolder or new oem relay.
ignition harness, contacts may need cleaning.
