They come in various rates.
OP:
Koni yellows are great.
Don't lower it more than about 1.38" or so. You'll start to run out of travel after that.
Although...Del Sol's have a ton of gap. So maybe take your own measurements. But usually 1.25 to 1.38" is the max recommended drop.

I'm sure you could just slam the coilover all the way down and just lower the car as much as you want. But...your shock will just be crushing the bumpstop the entire time. So you're kinda wasting a good shock's potential at that point.
Ideally, you want some space between the shock body and the bumpstop. Honda bumpstops are progressive and are designed into the suspension rate. But...again...you don't want to just be riding on top of them.
The del sol is a small car. Its asking a lot to lower it like 3 or 4 inches, if that's what you're after.
Since you already bought the ground controls....Koni yellows are probably as good as it gets.
However.....your original question makes me curious.
Did you buy ground controls meant specifically for Koni yellows? Koni yellows will not accept a regular GC sleeve.

Anyway, if you bought the Koni yellow versions of ground controls....you need Koni yellows. Because that is the only shock that will work.
If you bought the Bilstein version, then you'll need Bilstein shocks.
If you bought the standard GC versions, you have a lot of shock choices. Tokico Illuminas are likely one of the better ones.
You can buy extended tophats to accomodate a larger drop. But...you need to make sure the shock will stop moving before the UCA hits the shock tower. So...you'll most likely need special bumpstops...and even then, there's no guarantee that your UCA won't hit the tower.
Measure. Use measuring tape.
