outer valve cover nut rant! 8(
seriously guys what is the point of these things?
is it to sell more valve cover studs and nuts?
obviously designed to strip and/or break the stud
without much in the way of torque.
why not use proper nuts like those on the inner studs?
one of my outer nuts stripped out, had to use
a drill to back it off. thread on the stud is toast.
$10 for a new one, they must sell like hotcakes.
got some proper nuts on there now. sheesh what a racket!
