Im getting a 90 teg LS and my buddy is selling me his 94 gsr engine for cheap. I was wondering if this swap would be direct if I still used the cable tranny? Im thinking it will

 

I think you will have to get some other stuff to make the cable tranny bolt up. Im not sure so I dont know. I know that the ls tranny on the gsr is gonna suck though. Those transmissions start to fall apart on vtec engines. Were not ment to rev that high.

 

you would have to use hydro tranny. if your not getting his tranny then try to buy a jdm gsr or jdm/usdm type r tranny with lsd but dont down grade. lsd so awesome
