01 Accord delayed starting?
It seems for the last little while that my Accord will still start, but it is delayed. I will turn the key and hold it and about 2 seconds later the car will turn over and start. Today, nothing happened. I waited a few seconds and turned the key a few more times and it finally started. When I turn the key the CEL comes on and I can hear the fuel pump prime....
It is a 5 speed so I am thinking one of these things: clutch kill switch, main relay, ignition switch or possibly starter?
Which one should I look to start trouble shooting first?
Thanks!

sounds like starter contacts, when it doesnt start, tap it with a hammer and if it starts its likely needing new contacts, but also DEA and Viper alarms are prone to having the ignition kill function go bad and cause no starts after the car has warmed up
Don't rule out the ignition switch itself.
Next time the starter doesn't engage, start jiggling the key around while in the III(START) position. If it begins to work then I would look at the contacts on the ignition switch.
98-02 cars seem to have a more common problem with the ignition switch more-so than the 90-97 cars.
