Sup, H-T!

To keep it short, I have a 98 Civic hatch with a B16A + S4C trans. Power steering but no a/c.

After an alignment I noticed that after a LEFT turn, my steering wheel needs to be between 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock to drive straight.
But after turning RIGHT, the steering wheel is almost exactly 12 o'clock to drive straight.

It drives straight in both occasions if I let go of the wheel so I know the alignment was good.

Front wheel bearings are new, wheel balance is in check, tire wear is pretty even and front end suspension was refreshed less than a year ago (except rack mount bushings).

I suspect worn rack mount bushings but I am not sure. I can get into trouble with my apartment association for "appearing to work" on
my car just for being under it while it's jacked up so I wanted some opinions before I run out and risk getting bitched at.

Any ideas?

 

Do you have any friend with garage? Or maybe their parents house? That way you can use their garage so you can jack the car up and look. Other option, take it back to the alignment shop and ask if they can look at it.

 

I actually didn't think of this. I'll probably bring it back to them for an inspection.
