red light
i have a 97 integra ls stock internals, ebay bought turbo kit. dtp fuel rail, rc 1000cc injectors, 340 lph fuel pump. aem fpr. 70mm tb, skunk2 pro series intake. arp head studs commetic head gasket. type r tans stage 3 6 puck clutch. chase bays booster and abs delete. p28 ecu chipped with s300 v2. had her tuned i was driving her for a few days and then she wouldnt start. i was getting the red light in the ecu. eventually if i left the key in the ignition she turned green and i was able to driver her. it is random sometimes she starts right up sometimes she doesnt. ive checked the main relay 3 different times. replaced with one from honda. checked all the fuses. even replaced the fuel pump. the red light the fuel pump doesnt kick on at all. im lost i have no idea what is going on. ive been checking for power and tracing all the wires and im getting power and everything im supposed to. unless for some reason my computer isnt sending the signal right away to the fuel pump. but can that be fixed by just hard wiring the pump in? or can it be a bad ignition switch?
Yea i know. My wife bought the kit for me. So unfortunately its what i got right now. Eventually it will be upgraded once i have the car where i want her. But she made decent power on it.
I've done a lot of reading on ECUS myself over the last few years. As far as I know, from past experience, if the car eventually allows you to start after leaving the ignition on, the ecu is going bad. Try another, or try to see if you can get it repaired under warranty.
