hcp adjustable shift linkage sucks!

Default hcp adjustable shift linkage sucks!

alright, it's official..i can't stand that stupid adjustable shift linkage. it makes my damn crx shift like non-honda car (long *** throw). anyway, does anyone know if short throw shifter will help or should i go find me an integra linkage and weld that ****?

the linkage does not affect throw.. it makes the shifter lean forward, to the rear, or in the center. that's why it's adjustable.

HHmm Ive had no problems with mine at all. The throws seem the samr as before my swap. So I'd say get a SS thats what I plan on doing.

I have a SS on mine, its pretty damn short. Some Tenzo crap I think. It works though. I just have the shiter bar to short now. So its hard to go into 1,3, and 5 sometimes.

my shift bar is maddd tall...i want it shortened or something...i got mine from hcp as well.

If i bought HASport mounts could i use the HCP linkage? Ive heard that you cant do it but i dont understand why you couldnt...i mean the linkage is adjustable. There isnt THAT much of a difference in placement between the HASport and the HCP mounts anyway so i dont think that it would have to be adjusted much. Thanks.

yeah, HCP linkage will work with hasport mounts.

you have to tighten the linkages a few times.. like.. tighten it.. drive around the block.. tighten, drive around the block... those that do it right get what they want.. but for the average person the hasport ones fit fine.
