My GSR is fuxored up!!! HELP
sounds liek your piston rings and your acura dealer was too lazy to diagnose it. Definatly do a compression test. Also, check your map sensor... it's common among the mustang croud at my school to have their cars run shitty when they mess up something on their map sensor, i don't know if thir translated over to imports but it's worth a shot. One more thing, do you notice any leaks or fluid?

sounds to me like the valves...did you over rev at all?? black smoke does not mean that you have blown rings.....it means you are running rich at WOT, which a lot of cars do.......ones that aren't brand new that is.....it's a possibility that with your worn springs you floated a valve and bent the vavleshaft....it's what I've seen in the past....I mean, your rings could be worn too....that's typical with a "spiritly driven" gsr......just my experience...
A wet compression test will definitely tell about the rings, and a cyl. leak test might help, either way, something is shot, i had the same problem in my gsr, my rings melted thanks to the juice
I'll get both done this weekend... I'm not runnin boost or spray... And I've only reved my engine to 7.5 grand like 6 times... Not in the same night...
