CRX Wheel and Tire Combo Help Please. 500 WHP street and strip
There is a lot of information out there, but I'm having problems sifting through it all and deciding what is credible and current. I would appreciate any help, and if I need to provide more information please ask. I have a CRX H2B that will be somewhere in the 500 WHP range when its done. See original build thread here: https://honda-tech.com/forums/hybrid...build-3169415/ I have a set of all weather DOT tires for the car that are, as best I can recall, about 24.5 tall. They barely fit, but I can use these tires for normal DD. I would like to get a set of DOT tires that I can use on the street and strip. I've heard good things about M and H, so I'm leaning towards them but I'm open to other options. I need help selecting the appropriate tire type/size and rim size and offset combination. Any help is much appreciated.
The car will be getting a new transmission so if there are gearing suggestions please share. I am considering an SI trans with a 4.0 final drive.
Thanks in advance.

if your making that much power the tire is very important
but theres also no answer just real good guesses that can only come from people that are in that power range
me
i had a crx that was making about 410 ish whp and i was running a 225 tire and had no problem with grip
after i got used to the throttle control
so you should probebly be running a 235 tire but to get that to fit you need lots of offset
