Looks like I've found my way back to Honda life
Hey guys it's wonderful to see this form still going strong after all these years. I use to really be into hondas and cars of all makes and models. I had a crx about 13 or so years ago along with preludes and a few other hondas. Had a rare little turbo conquest I use to drag race and all so I'm not a total noob lol. Honestly after being gone for about ten years I might as well be, it really use to be something to go 11 seconds and you definitely had to be somebody to get something in the 10s. In fact I don't recall any of my friends ever making breaking the 10.999 mark but after reading people's sigs on here it seems like that's no big deal at the track now and that's honestly shocking to me. Well long story short I just relocated to Nor Cal and don't know a soul. I left selling cars and became manager of a small little auto shop so if anyone needs a hookup on parts or labor just let me know and I'll do all I can. Got the wife on board for buying another CRX or hatch and building it up. Just looking for some friends and advice along the way. Thanks for having me. Cheers ohh and ps in the market for a CRX with a B swap already done. Don't have to much money so if it needs a lot of work that's ok because my pockets do to as they are pretty slim. Feel free to reach out and I look forward to relearning so much. Lastly when the hell did people start running 35+ pounds of boost?!!!! I remember 20 being absolutely insane also smh so much has changed its unreal.
Hey there
I was in kind of the same boat as you when I found my CRX this year. Was into Honda's in high school and college, had a couple that I thought were fast (ran 13's) about 12 years ago. But I got into some more practical cars as needed and out of the "scene" for a long time. Coming back here after so many years.... yes a lot has changed!
Good luck finding a clean CRX or hatch! It is not easy, especially depending on your location and how much you want to spend. From my experience, I would be very wary of buying anything already swapped. Go over it with a fine-toothed comb and don't take the previous owners word on anything. I had to find that out the hard way
But anyway, welcome, and I look forward to seeing your build thread in the near future.
