Hi everyone,

Im new to the site and I believe Ive exploited the search tool to the best of my ability.

My question is in the title. Im about to put a B16a into a Classic Austin mini but before that Ive done enough reading on the 5th gear and I plan to do a lot of long distance driving.

I see so many of these products online but they all say they are for "hydro transmissions". Will those 5th gears work in the cable tranny? If not, is there a 5th gear I havent found for the Cable tranny?

If you get a 5th gear pair from a '90-91 USDM LS cable transmission... you can put them in the JDM B16A cable transmission.
