Skunk2 drag launch springs?
Yeah well they are 900lb springs...what would you expect from 900lb springs on the street
...well I have run them on a integra with some Koni yellows and they are a little rough for day to day driving...they are touchy if you try to take a hard turn with some bumps you will lose traction if you are not carefull...it just depends on your personality...as a second option you can buy Skunks setup that includes the standard street rated spring and the 900lb drag spring....then you just swap them when you go to race...then you get the best of both worlds...good luck!

You mean .3 off the 60ft, which can be between .3-.6 off at the lights...
Well worth it IMHO. I will be purchasing a set, cus I'm on a budget.

I run the drag launch kit on the street. the ride is a bit rough but thats the price you pay for really good traction. they dont bounce like cheap coilovers they just jump once when you hit the bump and are super stiff.
Which Shocks are you running with these springs, if you don't mind me asking.
If a 900lb spring was being used on a road-race car...most definately...they would be recommending some kind of Shortened, Revalved Koni by TrueChoice, etc.
I think that would be Ideal, but not needed on a Street\Strip Car. I will just swap back my H&R Race Springs if I take it to a HPDE

900lbs seems pretty extreme, does the shocks even have an effect when running that high of a spring rate? especially on a car that the rear is all gutted?
I run the Skunk2 Drag Launch rear springs, I used to have 400 lb/in rear Skunk2 in the back with stock shocks and then installed these with the KYB AGX 8 ways at the softest setting and I have to admit they actually are more tolerable than the 400 lb/in with the stock shocks, when you hit a bump your passenger will hate it but I didn't think they were as bad as I expected
I'll let you know also when I stiffen the shocks in the rear too

900lb spring rate has got to be VERY ruff. I have 600's in the rear of my gutted crx and it rides like ****. I have GC coilovers and koni red's that are set on the stiff setting.
i dont think my experience with them will help much. alot of factors come into play in my situation. i got my skunk2 coils this yr and went from a best low 1.8 60' down to mid 1.6 60s. also from that 1.8 i was gettin i was launching pretty easy at 6000 or so. the car weighed around 2000lbs w/o me in it. now my car is down to around 1700 minus me and i launch at 8000 or so. on the street they suck. light *** car with heavy duty springs=bone jarring ride.

i drove around with them for like a year because i wsa too lazy to switch them all the time.....make sure you dont drive too fast on the freeway becuase you might get loose. for the most part it aint that bad if you can stand it. if you got sensitive kidneys then i wouldnt suggest it
yes ...i daily drive the skunk drag launch springs and i think there great ..a lil bumpy...nothin adjustable shocks cant iron out a bit
yes they do fit on stock perches
i wouldnt recomend them if you have back problems or a child on the way
