Hey guys and girls, my name is dougie i have a 98 accord v6 i changed the shift solenoids a,b now tranny is shifting weird before it was shifting hard on first gear only. Do i need to drive for a whike so.it gets accumulated?

 

Define weird.

These transmissions can have some issues, but mileage/maintenance have quite a bit to do with it as well.
Why did you change the shift solenoids?
Have you checked for any stored codes? Not all codes will set off the CEL or D4 light, especially in the 98-02 Accords.

 

At first a/tranny was shifting hard from first to second. So i read that shift selonoid can be issue, tested selonoid for.ohms and ohms was all over the place. So i replaced selonoid now shifting is good its a jerk stopping at light or stopping and then a slight hesitating a was accerlating

 

Have you verified fluid level is correct?

 

Yes changed fliud, no codes, no d4 light flashing, imma take to tranny specialist for disgnosis
