driving the car and then the dash go's blank . got the car jumped after it died and now the dash lights won't shut off when the car is running thank you

 

The dash lights and display respond funny when the battery is low.

 

If you have a multimeter, I would check the charge on the battery. It should read around 12.6 volts with the car off. You can buy a multimeter for 6 dollars at harbor freight if not, or you could remove the battery and have it tested at autozone or advance auto parts.

 

the car has a new battery and battery ends replaced . the alternator tested 15.4 volts on the high side and 13.5 on the low side according to the bench test .

 

then the voltage regulator is bad, which normally causes strange electrical issues

best bet is getting either a non parts store alternator, a brand name alternator, or the best choice is a Denso reman from rockauto
