i have a 2009 honda civic hybrid. i heard a hard disk thinking noise, just as if a solenoid is actuating. it comes from behind the dashboard, on the left side. I keep all systems off ( ac, music, heating ) but still hear it while driving. Cannot find out what is the issue. Sound last for around 2-3 seconds.
please help

 

I am not sure if its any of these problems :

1) VSA Modulator ( Brake traction and ABS control )
2) Air Mix Motor ( That controls fuel economy )
3) Any relays or solenoids ?
