Default K24 EK, race build, some tips needed

Hey there! I am currently preparing my EK hatch for a K24 swap. The car is intended for racing, which is why I would like the engine to be placed as far back and as low as possible in the engine compartment.

My first question is regarding the subframe - the EG subframe (with the EKK2) on an EG seems to put the engine further back compared to the stock EK subframe, however the EK subframe seems to position the engine lower compared to the EG subframe. What do you consider to be the best choice in a racing context?

My second question is whether there is a difference between putting an DC2 TR subframe and an EG subframe in the EK - I read its exactly the same, but I just wanna be sure of this.

Thirst question: I am basically wondering what else I will have to swap if I do proceed with an EG subframe. I think I need the following:
  • New T-bracket from EG/DC
  • EG/DC Bushings
  • EG/DC Control arms
  • I am not completly sure about the steering rack. I would like to throw in an DC steering rack without power steering. Not sure if it will be a bolt on - anyone knows anything about that? I get kinda mixed up results when searching

Also, I have looked for some aftermarket subframes but there seems to only be ones for drag racing. Does anyone have any tips?

My last question is about the engine mounts: The EKK2 seems to be the ones to go with, but I figured that maybe someone might have some other recommendation.

All answers are very appreciated - thank you!
