I've looked at this site a few times and found some really helpful information. Hoping by registering as a user I can find others that had similar problems and found solutions for their Honda Ridgeline.
I'm getting an unsteady, hesitant acceleration when taking off from a full stop. It's not exactly bucking but feels like the gas pedal is not moving smoothly... Anyone have similar issues? My Ridgeline is a 2006 with 107,000 miles on it. Have not had any issues with it since it was bought new back in 2006. It has not had the spark plugs, wires or any other tune-up things done yet. I'm sure its due now? Before I start was wondering if anyone has suggestions?

What maintenance have you done to it over the years? You have a maintenance minder to remind you of things that need to be done. Rear diff by 15k miles, then every 30k thereafter. Transmission fluid and transfer assembly by 45k miles then every 30k. Etc.

The MM groups other maintenance around oil change intervals for the convenience of the owner. Or perhaps you have your own schedule you follow?

Have you checked your tranny fluid for proper amount, color, and smell? If you see any sign of a frothy strawberry color, you may have a failing heat exchanger in the radiator which will likely be fatal for your tranny unless you catch it early.

So tell us what you've done to troubleshoot the issue.
