Header glow red from timing- D-series. Suggestions?

Header glow red from timing- D-series. Suggestions?

I have a 89crx si with z6 swap p29 high comp pistons skunk2 manny arp head studs king race bearings and high flow oil pump when I start the car header glow red after only two mins running and I can't figure it out any help would be great

It is either really lean or the ignition timing is really retarded.

Am running a aem fpr with that setup too

In rare cases, running really RICH allows unburned fuel to ignite in the header... and will also cause the header to glow red. This is the least likely cause of your problem... so check your ignition timing and then get the car to a dyno and tune it.
