94 Integra Interior AC/Heat fan
Need some help with figuring out where my wires are supposed to be going as every schematic I've looked at is missing the wire I'm looking for. The previous owner of the car had the resistors blow on the fan module so he hacked and spliced cables to make a house hold light switch turn the fans on and off. I think I have most of my wiring sorted out on the cause but I still have a lose wire I'm not sure where to put and I can't get the fans to turn on anymore as I'm guessing they're to do with this last remaining wire. The blues and multi coloured blues from the back of the dash unit go to the blower resister then a solid black goes down to a brown two pin connector by the ecu and on the other side of the two pin connector is a blue with white stripe which is just hacked off and laying in the floor of the car. Any advice to where this should go would be greatly appreciated. I thought that it may be a 4-20mA for registering how fast the fan should be blowing as I tried putting both power and neutral to the line and still got nothing. No popped fuse no power to the fan or anything that would help me suspect a different problem. I've currently maretted the wire and am going to get the resistor board and try again without changing anything else but if I could be told where this blue and white stripe wire is supposed to go I'd appreciate it.
