What does it mean?
Breakdown of the part numbers is usually as follows.
28100 = TCU fairly sure all Hondas of the era used the same code, be it a Civic or NSX.
PX4 = Accord, I believe this is a generation code so 4th gen Accord.
722 = region/submodel and year(s) applicable code.
Not positive of what each digit actually dictates, but I *think* 7 =US, 2 =DX/LX, and 2 is the year range/group(but not actual year).

OK, thanks MAD_MIKE for your reply. While I am waiting for the reply which you offered, I made an offer of $49.00 to a guy on ebay selling a 28100-PX4-722 for $60. He rejects my off and raises the price to $80, so I send him an email asking him if my offer teed him off so much that he had to raise the price to $80. He came back and said that he didn't post the thing in the first place and it was brought to his attention that the price should be higher and that's why he did that. In another case, I asked a guy about a unit he has up for sale for $54.00 with the number ending in 932. I asked him what the difference is between a 722 and a 932 and he told me that the -932 has a different chip set than the 722 and they are not interchangeable. He went on to tell me that they do have a -722 but they are harder to source than the 932 and cost slightly more money than the -722. He wants $80 for the -722, so now I got another question; Since when is $25.00 slightly more that $54.00. I think he was setting me up to buy the -722 for more money. I do believe that MAD_MIKE gave me the right information and since he told me that the -722 means, not exactly but; 7= US, 2=DX, LX and the 2 is the year/range but not the actual year. and to me, that has nothing to do with chips. So, can we agree that I would be able to use the -932 in my car.
