Brake Line / Fuel Compatibility Issue:
Hoping you all can help me -- I have a 94' Integra GSR that needs all the hardlines under the car replaced (Both brakes, Fuel Feed/Return/Vent). Unfortunately, Honda has discontinued the OEM lines for the 94's. They do still have them for the 98+. From what I can tell, the brake lines are the same under the car, but different on the firewall. Fuel lines are the same on the firewall, but the fuel feed is different where it meets the tank/sending unit.
My plan was to buy them -- then use a brake tuck kit in the engine bay to make them work. Then for the fuel, it looks like since the fuel joint (connecting the hard line to the tank) is different and the sending unit is different (98+ has two tubes on top, where the 94-97 has one tube and banjo nut holding the feed line in place) I'd need both of those parts too.
My question is: Will a 98+ fuel sending unit work in a 94 fuel tank, or are they different? From the pics, looks like the plugs are the same apart from how the the fuel feed attaches to the top of the sending unit cover. Any thoughts?
