I think some guy did the same thing with his brake lines. I mean the ones under the hood. Anyways, he had a mushy pedal for some reason, and it was because he shouldn't have used SS on the engine bay brake lines. I think the same rule applies when dealing with fuel lines to the the constant pressure that needs to be maintained. I could be wrong, but just use steel lines.

Any place that sells earls fittings, should sell the correct sized line. Summit, etc. Tell him to check wherever he picked up the fittings.

Anybody doing a fuel cell should know where to get fittings and crap, but whatever.
