Bought a 91 ef9 si, had a b18b1 in it. I blew up that motor. Bought a b20b (99-00) from hmotors.com swapped all accessories from b18 to b20. Got fired up. Ran just fine now out of no where there's no spark. Dizzy has 100miles on it. Plugs are new, plug wires unknown, all grounds are hooked up. I'm pretty stumped.

 

If it isnt an OEM distributor (any non honda manufacturer), 100 miles could have been 99 more than some people get. Are all the wires seated deep enough in the connectors? and CEL?

 

I’m in for this I’m actually having the same problem with mine. But I have no spark or fuel. A common problem I recommend checking is the grounds. If not that then check the main relay. Are you still getting fuel?

 

check the screw on the ignition rotor. those are notorious for backing out and the. just spinning and not making con yt? sct where it needs to be.
