Technically they are "shocks" but people call them "struts" all the time - even parts guys, or parts websites when you go to order them. If you ever want to use a term nobody can dispute use "dampers" LOL. "Shocks" and "struts" are interchangeable terms to most people even though they are different pieces.

Why are you asking though? A counter guy at Auto Zone swore to you that you have struts?
